AI security tools: 25 tools by task

Security covers very different jobs, from a developer checking code to a person checking a suspicious text message. These are the security products in our directory that say they use AI, grouped by what they do. We list what each vendor says about its AI and what it publishes about price. We have not tested any of them or measured how well they detect anything.

Listed by task, alphabetical within each task, not ranked and not tested: we have not used these tools. Descriptions and starting prices are the ones on each tool's page, from the vendors' own sites and other public sources, and they change, so confirm on the vendor's site before you pay.

Before you pick a tool

  1. Check what happens to the data you send. These tools read your code, email, files or alerts. Look for the vendor's statement on how long it keeps what you send and whether it trains models on it. Several vendor pages do not say, and each profile notes that.
  2. Expect no public price for business products. Most threat-detection and email-security products are sold through sales and show "Custom pricing". Free plans are mostly for developer tools and everyday scam checkers.
  3. Test only what you own or have permission to test. Penetration-testing tools are for your own systems or ones you have written permission to test.
  4. An "AI-powered" label is a vendor claim, not a guarantee. We do not measure detection rates. Treat a scam or deepfake check as one signal, and confirm anything important through a second channel, such as calling the person on a number you already have.
