What is Vidyard?

Vidyard lists four core products: Video Messages (screen, webcam or both), Video Hosting with branded playback and CTAs, Video Agent for trigger-based sending, and AI Avatars.
Vidyard says a custom AI avatar is made from a 90-second training video, and that AI Avatars can generate videos in over 25 languages, with a library of stock avatars at no cost.
Vidyard says the Video Agent add-on includes unlimited AI videos, 3 custom AI avatars, and unlimited automated creation and delivery triggered by buyer actions, with integrations for Salesloft, Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo and Zapier.
Vidyard lists CRM/MAP integrations and 2 data integrations on Teams, and unlimited data integrations, API and ingestion-based integrations, and SSO on Enterprise.
Vidyard says only the creator of an avatar can generate videos with it, and requires a consent video read from a script to confirm the person in the training video is the same person.
Vidyard says canceling a paid Starter subscription does not affect existing videos in the library, and the account reverts to the Free plan after the billing cycle ends.

Limitations

Free is capped at 5 recordings a month of up to 30 minutes each, and deleted or duplicated videos still count toward the limit, per Vidyard's help center. Free also allows embedding on external pages for only 5 videos.
Vidyard's pages disagree on Free AI videos: the pricing page and pricing.md list 15, the help article text says 15 total (lifetime), and the plan table in that article says 5. Confirm on the live pricing page.
Starter is priced per seat, and Video Agent is a separate add-on on Starter, Teams and Enterprise ($24 per seat a month billed annually, or $29 monthly, on Starter; custom pricing on Teams and Enterprise). Free includes Video Agent only in limited form.
Teams and Enterprise have no public price and are billed by invoice. Caption translations are usage-based on those plans, and the Theta Lake integration is Enterprise only.
Vidyard's self-serve terms say the Free plan license lets Vidyard use customer content to train, test and improve AI models, while the paid-plan license covers only operating the service. Fees are generally non-refundable, and paid plans renew automatically.

Reported: the dollar amounts come from Vidyard's pricing.md snapshot (updated 2026-07-16, prices in USD per seat per month), because the fetched live pricing page text showed no numeric prices (it shows an annual-save 30% toggle and a Starter 'Now 10% off' label). The pricing.md header says the live page is authoritative, so confirm on the live pricing page.
