What is Lindy AI?
Lindy describes itself as an AI teammate that connects to a team's tools, learns how the team works and completes tasks such as pulling reports, updating a CRM or managing an inbox. Work is paid for with credits that are drawn down as Lindy runs tasks.
Who it's for
The vendor addresses teams across functions. Its homepage has role pages for paid ads, account management, client reporting, SEO, project management, lead generation, inbox and calendar, bookkeeping, operations, HR, customer support, recruiting and product management.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- The vendor lists 1,500+ integrations and says it supports any hosted MCP server
- A free offer of $50 in credits with no credit card required
- The vendor's FAQ lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, HIPAA and PIPEDA compliance, and says data is not sold or used to train models
- Enterprise adds HIPAA with a signed BAA, SSO, SCIM, audit logs, shared usage with bonus credits and dedicated support
- Admins can set spend caps per teammate. When the shared credit pool runs low, Lindy pauses credit-using actions and notifies users instead of billing overage, according to the billing docs
Limitations
- The free offer is $50 in credits that last 7 days, once per teammate. It is not a permanent free plan, so a paid plan is needed to keep using Lindy
- Monthly plan credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over. Purchased top-up credits do not expire
- Billing is per seat. Anyone who signs up, joins the workspace or first mentions Lindy in Slack takes a seat, and a removed seat is paid through the end of the cycle
- Credit use varies by task. The pricing page gives ranges of 2 to 250 credits for everyday asks, 250 to 1,000 for deep work and 1,000 to 2,500 for big builds. A vendor community reply says there is no per-action credit table
- Some features depend on the plan: computer use is listed for Pro and Max, and SSO, SCIM, audit logs and HIPAA with a BAA for Enterprise. No annual price and no agent or seat cap is stated on the pricing page
Plans and pricing
- Free: $0. $50 in credits, valid for 7 days, no credit card required. One free week per teammate.
- Team (pricing page): $49.99 a month, with no annual price listed. 5,000 credits a month, billed per active user. Top-ups are $10 per 1,000 credits. The model can be chosen per task.
- Plus, Pro and Max (named in the docs): Not stated. The docs name these tiers and send readers to Settings, Billing for prices. They do not appear as named tiers on the pricing page we read.
- Enterprise: Custom, contact sales. Everything in Team plus HIPAA with a signed BAA, SSO, SCIM, audit logs, shared usage with bonus credits, dedicated support and onboarding.
The vendor's own pages disagree. The pricing page shows Team at $49.99 a month with 5,000 credits, the homepage shows $29.99 a month per user with 3,000 credits, and the docs name Plus, Pro and Max tiers without prices. We show the pricing page figure. Check the live pricing page and Settings, Billing before buying.
