What is Adobe Podcast?
A web-based audio tool from Adobe with Enhance Speech, which removes noise and echo from voice recordings, and Studio (labeled Beta), which records, edits and enhances audio in the browser with transcription-based editing. It runs in the browser at podcast.adobe.com; Adobe also lists a Mic Check feature that analyzes your microphone setup before recording.
Who it's for
People who record voice or podcasts and want to clean up audio or edit by transcript in a browser, including with a free tier for short files. Adobe's current help page says new paid access to Premium features now comes through the Firefly Pro plan, so it also suits people who want Firefly's image, video and audio generation alongside.

- The features page says Premium Studio has unlimited downloads, speaker-separated original recordings, projects up to 2 hours and audiograms without Adobe branding.
- Adobe's help FAQ says Firefly Pro includes Enhance Speech, Podcast Studio and 4,000 generative credits a month, plus AI audio tools (soundtrack, speech, sound effects) and image and video tools.
- The help FAQ says that for existing Podcast Premium subscribers, access and pricing stay the same from August 30, 2026, and Firefly Standard with 2,000 credits a month is added at no extra cost.
Limitations
- Standalone Podcast Premium is no longer sold to new customers: the help FAQ says sales stopped August 30, 2026 and new checkouts at podcast.adobe.com move to Firefly Pro, which is priced for the full Firefly bundle, not only audio.
- The help FAQ says that if an existing subscriber cancels after August 30, 2026, they would need to buy a different plan (Firefly Pro) to get Premium features back.
- Firefly generative credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over, and Adobe says premium features such as video, audio and partner models draw from credits.
- Adobe's own pages do not match: the plans page headline and button refer to Podcast Premium but its text describes Firefly Pro, while the features page still lists a Premium plan with a 30-day free trial and no price, and carries older dates (2025). The help FAQ does not say what Free users get or whether a trial is offered.
- The pages read do not state whether audio you upload is used to train Adobe's models. A 2023 news report quotes an Adobe executive saying Adobe has never used stored content to train a generative AI model (Reported); check Adobe's current Terms and privacy policy.
