What is Polymer?

Polymer is a no-code business intelligence web tool that turns spreadsheet, ad and store data into dashboards, charts and reports, with AI-generated dashboards, automatic chart explanations and a chat feature for asking questions about your data. Its homepage now also presents it as an embedded analytics platform that developers can add to their own apps through an API.

Who it's for

The vendor's pages name ecommerce stores, agencies, marketing teams and enterprises that want reports without an analyst, and developers who want to embed charts in a product. The vendor also says students and educators can use Polymer for free.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • Polymer lists CSV and XLS uploads, Google Sheets, Shopify, Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Google Analytics as data sources, and mentions Salesforce and "dozens of other connectors".
  • The pricing page lists unlimited viewers on the team plans, and the vendor says reports can be kept private or shared with anyone who has the link.
  • The AI dashboard page says dashboards are created automatically and that charts get automatic explanations; the vendor also lists chat-based questions, custom branding and chart embedding.
  • Polymer says it syncs data on a schedule down to hourly, and lists real-time syncing and API access on Enterprise.
  • Polymer's data-handling page says uploaded data is encrypted at rest with AES-256, transmitted over TLS, and that deleting a dataset in the interface removes the data and its metadata.
  • The homepage says students and educators can use Polymer for free, and offers a 7-day free trial.

Limitations

  • No permanent free plan is listed for general users; only a free trial, which the pricing page states as 14 days in one table and 7 days in the closing banner (the homepage also says 7 days).
  • The pricing page shows three overlapping plan tables with conflicting details, for example Pro syncing as weekly or hourly, Pro chat responses as 15 or 20, and Starter syncing as manual or daily. The page does not say which is current.
  • The Basic plan covers file uploads and Google Sheets only, with 1 editor, manual syncing and no AI chat responses. AI chat responses are capped on paid plans (10 on Starter, 20 on Pro, 30 on Teams in one table); uncapped chat and API access are Enterprise only.
  • Shopify is billed separately at $3 a month per store on plans that list it. The homepage lists API access for embedding from $500 a month, a separate price from the dashboard plans.
  • The terms say subscriptions are not refundable and cancellations take effect at the end of the billing cycle. The terms are dated 2020 and the privacy policy is dated 2023; neither page mentions AI, so whether customer data is used for AI training is not stated on the pages read.

Plans and pricing

  • Basic: $60 a year billed annually (about $5 a month), or $10 monthly. File uploads and Google Sheets only, 1 editor, 1 account per connector, manual syncing, no AI chat responses.
  • Starter: $300 a year billed annually (about $25 a month), or $50 monthly. All connectors, 1 editor, 1 account per connector, 10 AI chat responses; syncing listed as daily in one table and manual in another.
  • Pro: $600 a year billed annually (about $50 a month), or $100 monthly. 5 accounts per connector, 20 AI chat responses in one table (15 in another), hourly syncing in one table (weekly in another). The annual price is misprinted as "$10O" on the page.
  • Teams: $1,500 a year billed annually (about $125 a month), or $250 monthly. 3 editors, 15 accounts per connector, 30 AI chat responses, Slack channel.
  • Enterprise: Contact sales. API access, real-time syncing, uncapped AI chat, custom data connectors, larger file limits.
  • Embedded analytics API: From $500 a month (Reported on the homepage). For developers embedding charts in their own apps; custom plans based on data volume and user access.

Prices were read from polymersearch.com/pricing, which contains three tables; the table with Basic, Starter, Pro, Teams and Enterprise is used above, and an older table shows Starter $20 / Pro $40 monthly. The AI dashboard page says "At only $25/mo". Prices are in US dollars; Shopify is $3 a month per store extra. Confirm on the live pricing page.

Details checked October 2026 against the vendor's own pages. Prices and limits change, so confirm before you buy. Official pricing page ↗
