What is mnml.ai?

mnml.ai is an AI visualization tool for architecture and design that turns sketches, model exports and photos into renders, with tools for refining, 8K upscaling and walkthrough animation. It runs in a web workspace, with free plugins for SketchUp, Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper, and an MCP server for connecting AI assistants.

Who it's for

The vendor says it is for architects, interior designers, landscape and masterplan designers, and real estate professionals who stage properties. Firms that need shared seats and pooled credits can use its separate Teams and Enterprise plans.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • mnml.ai lists render modes for exterior, interior, masterplan and site plans, landscape, elevation, floor plans and virtual staging, plus a render enhancer, style transfer, sketch to image, text to render and walkthrough animation.
  • The pricing page says every plan includes all of its 12+ AI tools, 8K upscaling, PNG and DXF export and a commercial license.
  • The vendor says it does not train AI models on customer uploads, prompts or renders, and the Teams page says a DPA is available on all plans.
  • Unused plan credits roll over up to two monthly allowances (2,000 on Lite, 6,000 on Plus, 20,000 on Studio); purchased top-ups are not capped and do not expire.
  • The SketchUp page says a free plugin renders from a panel inside SketchUp 2026 on Windows and Mac, and the About page lists Revit, Rhino and Grasshopper plugins; the browser route accepts a PNG or JPG exported from any SketchUp version.
  • The Teams page lists roles (owner, admin, member, IT manager), a required two-factor policy, an audit log, spend reports and a pooled credit balance; it says SAML SSO is not available yet.

Limitations

  • Usage is metered in credits: Lite has 1,000 a month (about 100 Fast or 33 Ultra renders, 10 videos). Each engine has a fixed credit cost shown on the button before you spend.
  • Pages disagree on the free tier: the pricing page lists 100 signup credits (no card, no expiry) and no free plan, while the SketchUp page says free accounts get 300 credits a day per connected app, 2 renders at a time and watermarked images.
  • Annual prices are not listed; the pricing page only says annual billing is 2 months free (charged for 10 months). Refunds are generally not possible; you can cancel and the plan stays active to the end of the period.
  • The pricing page says every plan has a commercial license, but the SketchUp page says Upscale, Enhance, Extend and Animate need a plan or purchased credits. The terms page could not be read, so the free-plan commercial-use wording in the short profile is not re-verified.
  • The plugin supports SketchUp 2026 only (not 2025 or older) and Windows and Mac only; Teams starts at $179 a month and Enterprise at $2,999 a month, billed monthly on the page.

Plans and pricing

  • Signup credits: $0. 100 credits on signup, no card required, do not expire per the pricing FAQ; the SketchUp page also describes a free account with daily credits and watermarks.
  • Lite: $29 a month. 1,000 credits, about 100 Fast or 33 Ultra renders, 2 parallel renders, 10 videos, rollover cap 2,000. Annual price not listed.
  • Plus: $49 a month. 3,000 credits, about 300 Fast or 100 Ultra renders, 4 parallel renders, 30 videos, rollover cap 6,000.
  • Studio: $119 a month. 10,000 credits, about 1,000 Fast or 333 Ultra renders, 6 parallel renders, 100 videos, rollover cap 20,000.
  • One-time credit pack: $149. 10,000 credits valid for 12 months, no subscription; includes 8K upscaling and a commercial license.
  • Teams: $179 to $999 a month. Starter $179 (15,000 credits, 3 seats), Growth $349 (30,000, 5 seats), Scale $999 (100,000, 15 seats); each adds one IT-admin seat and a pooled credit balance.
  • Enterprise: $2,999 a month. 300,000 credits, 30 seats plus one IT-admin seat, account manager, 99.9% uptime SLA, invoicing by contract.

Prices were read from the official German and Indonesian pricing pages (USD, monthly billing), the Teams and Enterprise page, and the SketchUp and education pages; the English pricing page and the terms page could not be fetched. Annual prices are not shown (2 months free only). A 30% education discount and a 15% new-customer code were listed. Confirm on the live pricing page.
