What is Getimg.ai?
Getimg.ai is a web app for generating and editing images, video, music, speech and sound effects from text prompts, with tools such as upscaling, resizing and background removal. It runs at getimg.ai/app, and the site also lists an API and an MCP option for developers.
Who it's for
It suits individuals and teams who want one credit-based subscription covering image, video and audio generation across several third-party models, with commercial rights listed on paid plans. Its pages mention a shared workspace and a Business plans tab for teams, but no business pricing could be read.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- The pricing page lists commercial rights, top-up credits and unlimited content storage history on all four plans, and getimg.ai's blog says paid plans carry commercial rights with no enterprise-only gating.
- Getimg.ai lists image upscaling up to 4K on Entry, 8K on Core and 16K on Plus and Ultra.
- Core, Plus and Ultra list access to all models; Entry lists selected models only. The site names model families such as Seedream, Nano Banana, FLUX, GPT Image, Veo, Kling, Seedance, MiniMax, Wan and Lyria.
- The pricing page shows approximate monthly output per model for each plan (for example, 400 Seedream images or 160 Seedance videos on Entry), so credit use can be estimated before subscribing.
- The homepage lists AI Actions (ready-made workflows such as headshots and UGC-style ad videos), smart image resizing, music, speech and sound effects, and video upscaling.
- A separate pay-as-you-go API is listed with no subscription or minimum spend, starting at $0.015 per image and $0.022 per second of video, with Node.js and Python clients and an MCP server.
Limitations
- The pricing page lists no free plan and the homepage mentions no free trial or free credits; all four plans are paid.
- Output is metered in monthly credits (8,000 on Entry, 19,000 on Core, 42,500 on Plus, 107,500 on Ultra). The refund policy says unused credits expire at the end of the billing period in which they were issued, while the pricing FAQ lists a rollover question whose answer did not load.
- Entry is limited to selected models and a batch size of 2; Core allows 4, Plus 8 and Ultra 10. In the per-model output table, one Google Veo model shows as not listed on Ultra.
- The refund policy allows refunds only within 3 days of a subscription start or renewal and only if fewer than 100 credits were used; discounted or promotional subscriptions are not refundable. The separate Cancellation Policy could not be read.
- Vendor pages disagree in places: the pricing page says prices exclude tax while the Terms of Service (last updated November 2022) say prices include VAT and local taxes, and a getimg.ai blog post lists Entry at $8 a month. The Terms do not address ownership of generated outputs, and the Privacy Policy was not read, so training use of prompts is unconfirmed.
Plans and pricing
- Entry: $15 a month, or $180 billed annually. 8,000 credits a month, selected models only, batch size of 2, image upscaling to 4K.
- Core: $26 a month billed annually, or $35 monthly. 19,000 credits a month, all models, batch size of 4, upscaling to 8K. Annual total $312.
- Plus: $59 a month billed annually, or $79 monthly. 42,500 credits a month, all models, batch size of 8, upscaling to 16K. Listed as most popular. Annual total $708.
- Ultra: $149 a month billed annually, or $199 monthly. 107,500 credits a month, all models, batch size of 10, upscaling to 16K. Annual total $1,788.
Prices were read from the official pricing page in USD, excluding tax. The page advertises 26% savings on annual billing, but Entry's yearly total ($180) equals twelve months at its monthly price ($15), so confirm on the live pricing page. The Business plans tab, seat counts, and the FAQ answers (including cancellation, payment options and API access) did not appear in the page text.
