What is Motif Review?

Motif Review is a browser-based workspace for sheet review, 3D design review, visual exploration and AI visualization, with live model streaming from Revit and Rhino. Its AI tools turn a sketch, image or live 3D view into renders, edit them, and generate video, all inside Motif's web workspace.

Who it's for

Motif says it is for design teams, including architects and engineers, plus clients and teammates who need access without specialized software; viewers open shared links in a browser with no install and no Revit license. Motif positions Review for reviewing and visualizing designs, while its separate Motif Design product is the BIM platform with AI agents.

Pros & cons

Strengths

Motif lists live model streaming from Revit and Rhino, plus Grasshopper and Dynamo, and says comments attach to locations in the model and sync back to the source model.
Motif says AI rendering turns sketches, uploaded images or live 3D views into 4K renders, and each render produces three variations.
Motif lists targeted edits with reference images, style presets (photorealistic, black and white, watercolor), and environment, weather and time-of-day controls.
Motif's help center lists per-action credit costs: image generation, image editing and 4K upscale cost 1 credit on Fast models and 2 on Pro models; video costs 15 (Fast) or 30 (Pro); credits are refunded for failed generations.
Motif says its AI providers are contractually committed not to train on customer work, that users own what they create, and that project data is not used to train third-party models.
Motif's pricing page says model access is included in the plan, and that Pro can be billed monthly or annually at the customer's choice.

Limitations

Pro includes 60 AI credits per seat per month. Unused credits do not roll over and expire at the end of each billing cycle; admins can buy top-up packs in the app, but the help center does not state their prices.
Credits are consumed per action (for example 30 credits for one Pro-tier video), so the 60-credit allowance covers only a few videos or a modest number of renders. Credits are pooled across the organization, not held per person.
There is no free plan. The pricing page offers a 14-day free trial, and Motif's AI page says the trial includes 30 AI credits; the help center credits article does not mention trial credits.
Pricing is per seat. SSO, custom credit allocation, volume credit packs, a dedicated Customer Success Manager and a custom security review are listed only for Enterprise, which has custom pricing.
The pricing page does not address refunds or cancellation. Motif's pages do not list supported Revit or Rhino versions, file formats or browsers, and the pricing page says Motif Design (a separate product) is sold annually from $150 per active user a month.

Plans and pricing

Pro: $25 per seat a month, billed monthly or annually. 60 AI credits per seat per month, pooled across the org. AI image rendering and editing, video generation, 4K upscaling. Top-up packs available in the app. 14-day free trial.
Enterprise: Custom. Everything in Pro plus custom AI credit allocation (refreshes annually per the help center), volume credit packs, a dedicated Customer Success Manager, SSO and a custom security review. Pricing not published.

Prices were read from the official Motif pricing page and the help-center credits article. The page lists $25 per seat a month for Pro with monthly or annual billing but does not say whether the annual price differs, and it does not address refunds or cancellation. Confirm on the live pricing page.
