What is Make?
A browser-based automation platform where you build "scenarios" that connect business apps and move data between them. The vendor's MCP page says it links to over 3,000 apps and lets AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Cursor call scenarios as tools.
Who it's for
Teams and individuals who want to automate work across many SaaS apps, from a free tier up to team and enterprise plans. The pricing page also lists a Start-up Plan for organizations under 20 employees (50% off Business) and says NGOs and nonprofits can contact sales for discounts.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- The MCP page says Make links to over 3,000 apps (another section of the same page says 3,500+), so the app count is not stated consistently.
- The MCP page says the Make MCP Server and MCP Client are included in all plans at no extra cost, including free plans; you pay only for credits used when scenarios run.
- The MCP page says the MCP Server lets you choose which inputs the AI fills in and which stay fixed, and can also help manage your workspace (folders, teams, invites).
- The pricing page says most actions use 1 credit, and that error-handler modules (Rollback, Break, Resume, Commit, Ignore) and Router modules consume no credits.
- The pricing page says Core, Pro and Teams accept major credit cards, ACH direct debit and Google Pay, and that Enterprise can also pay by wire transfer after invoice.
- The pricing page says extra credits come in bundles of 1,000 or 10,000, and auto-purchase of 10,000 credits is available on Core, Pro and Teams.
Limitations
- Usage is metered in credits: the pricing page says each action uses a certain number of credits, some AI features may use more than 1, and scenarios stop when credits run out (webhooks queue up to the queue limit).
- The pricing page says unused credits expire at the end of the term, and extra credits expire after one month on monthly plans or at the end of the year on annual Pro and Teams plans.
- The Free plan is capped at 1,000 credits a month, 1 MB of data storage and 1 data store. Reported by a third-party review (Jet Admin, Sep 2026): 2 active scenarios, a 15-minute minimum interval, 5 minutes maximum run time and 5 MB file size on Free.
- Reported by third-party reviews: Pro adds priority execution, custom variables and full-text log search, and Teams adds team collaboration features; these tier details could not be read on Make's own pages.
- The pages read do not state whether customer content is used to train AI models, and do not mention a refund policy. The pricing page says a downgrade charges your card immediately and stops active scenarios that use higher-plan features.

Make's own pricing page could not be read for dollar amounts (the plan cards did not load), so the prices come from two third-party articles checked in October 2026 (The Automated Shop, Oct 16; Activepieces, Oct 12) and one from Sep 26 (Jet Admin), which agree on $9, $16 and $29 billed annually and $10.59, $18.82 and $34.12 monthly, all for the 10,000-credit tier in USD. An older Zapier article (May 2026) listed $12, $21 and $38 on annual billing, so confirm on the live pricing page.
