Kiro is an agentic AI coding product from AWS with an IDE based on Code OSS, a CLI, a web interface and a mobile app. It turns prompts into requirements, design and tasks (specs) before writing code.

- Sign in with GitHub, Google, AWS Builder ID or AWS IAM Identity Center; an AWS account is not required
Limitations
- Usage is credit-based (Free 50, Pro 1,000, Pro+ 2,000, Pro Max 5,000, Power 10,000 per month) and monthly credits do not roll over
- The free plan is limited to open-weight models and Claude Sonnet 4.5, with rate limits
- Add-on credits cost $0.04 each, expire 12 months after purchase and are not available on Free
- Subscriptions cannot be shared; each team member needs their own
- Some content from Free-tier and social-login users may be used for service improvement (an opt-out is offered)

- Enterprise: Contact sales. Adds centralized billing, SSO, usage analytics and security controls.
