What is Kaedim?
Kaedim is a web service that generates 3D models and game-ready assets, sold through credits. Its docs list five asset types (prototype, game-ready, game-ready with rig, scene, and uploaded models) and plugins for Unity, Unreal Engine, Blender and Omniverse.
Who it's for
Kaedim's docs and plans pages are aimed at teams and businesses, especially game studios. Enterprise adds a team workspace, custom trained art styles, API access and custom integrations.
Pros & cons
Strengths
- Kaedim's plans page lists Indie at $400 a month with 20 credits and Pro at $1,200 a month with 60 credits, with the number of geometries or complete assets each covers.
- Kaedim's docs say revisions of game-ready assets are free, can be requested after each pipeline stage, and the game-ready stages include high-poly (up to 2,000,000 polys), optimized geometry, UVs, textures and up to three LODs.
- The docs list export formats .obj, .mtl, .fbx, .glb, .gltf and .usd, and say every Kaedim model is made with quads, is watertight and has clean topology and separate meshes.
- The docs list plugins for Omniverse, Unity, Blender and Unreal Engine, and the Pro plan lists priority processing and dedicated Discord support.
- The FAQ says models created with Kaedim are the user's IP while subscribed to a plan (it points to Section 3.2 of the Terms of Service). The docs say Enterprise data is not used for training except on your specific project.
Limitations
- There is no free plan. The plans page shows a paid 7-day trial at $50 (shown next to $100) that renews to Indie automatically, while the docs FAQ says no free trial is offered.
- Output is metered in credits: the docs list 1 credit for standard, 2 for high and 4 for ultra quality generation, and 1 credit per revision of prototype assets. FAQ revisions are unlimited only while you have enough credits.
- Per the asset types page, game-ready props and characters are available only on Pro and Enterprise, and scenes only on Enterprise. The Game-Ready Pipeline is activated by contacting Kaedim's sales team.
- Kaedim's pages disagree: the plans page lists fixed monthly prices, but the docs FAQ says off-the-shelf plans are temporarily closed and pricing is custom, and the older FAQ said no prices are published. Annual billing, refunds and downgrade rules were not found.
- The docs billing page says credits remain available until the end of your subscription period, and cancelling is done from the Billing tab. The FAQ says dismissed generations get their credit back and that revision feedback is used to improve Kaedim's algorithms; a full privacy policy was not read.
Plans and pricing
- Trial: $50. 7 days, 5 credits, up to 5 geometries; renews to Indie automatically. The page shows $100 next to it, labeled 50% off.
- Indie: $400 a month. 20 credits; up to 20 geometries or 1 complete asset with high-quality retopology, UVs and textures; dedicated Discord support.
- Pro: $1,200 a month. 60 credits; up to 60 geometries or 3 complete assets; priority processing; dedicated Discord support; game-ready props and characters.
- Enterprise: Custom. Custom pricing quoted per project; team workspace, custom trained styles, API access, 1-1 support with bi-weekly feedback calls, custom integrations, and scene generation.
Prices were read from the official plans page, which shows monthly prices only and does not mention annual billing, refunds or cancellation. The docs FAQ says off-the-shelf plans are temporarily closed, which conflicts with the plans page. Confirm on the live pricing page.
