Pros & cons
Strengths
- The pricing page lists a Free plan with unlimited base resumes, free PDF export, all resume templates, unlimited contacts and unlimited application autofills.
- Huntr's help center lists the AI tools as Achievement Writer, Resume Tailor, Resume Review, Resume Skills, Cover Letter Generator, Interview Preparation and Follow-Up Email Templates.
- The job tracker is a Kanban board with interview dates, an activity timeline from application to offer, a contact tracker, a map view and job search metrics.
- The Chrome Job Clipper saves company, title, location, link and job description to your board, and the same extension autofills application forms.
- Huntr says Pro includes unlimited job tracking, unlimited job-tailored resumes and application packets, unlimited document uploads, and unlimited AI generations, reviews and cover letters.
- Huntr says you can cancel from Plan & Usage in account settings, Pro access continues to the end of the paid period, and your data stays accessible afterward. A ZIP of CSV files can be downloaded.
Limitations
- Free is capped at 100 tracked jobs, 100 document uploads, 2 job-tailored resumes and 2 application packets; unlimited job tracking and clipping need Pro.
- Huntr says Free includes a small number of complimentary AI credits and there is no free trial. The number of credits is not stated, and AI features need Pro once they run out.
- Advanced job matching, advanced resume scoring and advanced job insights are listed under Pro only.
- Pro has no annual option: it is $40 monthly, $90 every 3 months or $160 every 6 months. Huntr's refund policy says refunds are decided case by case on account activity, and requests more than 14 days after the last invoice are not processed.
- The help center article on plans says AI review and AI tailor are included in Basic with no cap stated, while the pricing page lists AI resume review and tailoring under Pro and Free AI as limited credits. The job tracker page says Pro is $30 a month, which matches only the quarterly rate. The privacy policy (last modified February 8, 2024) mentions AI content creation only as a third-party service and does not address model training.
