What is Aidoc?

Aidoc is a clinical AI company whose aiOS platform runs, orchestrates and monitors AI algorithms for health systems, mainly for radiology imaging such as CT and X-ray, and shows results next to the patient record. The vendor says it integrates with PACS, EHR, mobile and care tools and runs on AWS and Azure.

Who it's for

The vendor aims it at health systems and the radiologists, emergency teams, surgeons and care teams who work with imaging; its FAQ names level 1 trauma centers, outpatient imaging centers and teleradiology facilities as examples. It is sold to organizations, not to consumers or individual patients.

Pros & cons

Strengths

  • Aidoc says aiOS runs multiple algorithms on a single scan, shows results alongside the patient record, and supports urgency-based prioritization of acute and nonacute findings.
  • The radiology page lists algorithms across neurovascular (for example intracranial hemorrhage), aortic, cardiology, pulmonary embolism, chest and abdomen findings, and says the Aidoc Widget can also show results from partner algorithms.
  • Aidoc says aiOS includes validation, drift detection, override tracking and Aidoc Analytics for performance and adoption reporting, and that 69% of customers already run partner or homegrown algorithms on it.
  • The systems-integration page lists PACS, EHR, VNA, scheduling, radiology worklist and mobile communication systems, and says it connects using standard protocols (DICOM, HL7, FHIR); the vendor calls the list partial and itself vendor agnostic.
  • Aidoc's FAQ says it holds regulatory clearances including US-FDA, AUD-TGA and EU-CE, is certified to MDSAP and ISO 13485:2016, and points to the 510(k) premarket notifications on FDA's website and each device's user guide for indications for use.
  • Aidoc's news page cites the FDA clearance "K252970 BriefCase-Triage: CARE (Clinical Al Reasoning Engine) Multi-Triage CT Body" and calls it a comprehensive body CT triage solution; a separate release describes a rib fracture triage version built on its CARE foundation model.

Limitations

  • No public pricing: the pages read mention no prices or plans, so cost is set by agreement with the health system; confirm with the vendor.
  • The FDA-related pages read give no per-algorithm clearance list or dates on the page itself. The radiology page says it does not specify clearance status for each algorithm, so check each device's 510(k) entry and Indications for Use before relying on any specific function.
  • Not everything is cleared: a June 2026 release says First Read, which drafts preliminary text for chest radiographs, has an FDA Breakthrough Device Designation but "is for investigational use only and has not been cleared or approved by the FDA". The vendor also notes generative AI risks such as errors and automation bias, with clinician oversight and final approval kept.
  • The Security & Privacy page names the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and AWS/Azure hosting but does not name HIPAA, SOC 2 or ISO 27001 in readable text (it shows a logo image); the FAQ says its solutions are HIPAA and GDPR compliant. Mark as Reported and confirm in the vendor's Trust Center or contract.
  • Public pages do not clearly say whether customer patient data is used to train models. The FAQ says AI processing runs on de-identified studies, no patient health information leaves the facility, and algorithms are trained on annotated CT studies; the privacy policy excludes Customer Information from its scope and does not mention AI training.

Plans and pricing

  • Health system (aiOS platform): Contact sales. Enterprise platform to run, orchestrate and govern clinical AI; pricing not published.
  • Individual algorithm solutions: Contact sales. Triage and quantification solutions (for example CT body triage); no public price or plan list found.
  • Free plan or self-serve: Not offered publicly. No free tier, trial or self-serve sign-up was found on the pages read.

Prices were not found: the aiOS, radiology, FAQ and news pages read do not list any price or plan, so the entries above are descriptive, not official tiers. Confirm on the live site or with the vendor. Customer content: the vendor does not clearly say on the pages read whether patient data trains models; health use is for clinicians and health systems, and this profile is not medical advice.

Details checked October 2026 against the vendor's own pages. Prices and limits change, so confirm before you buy. Official pricing page ↗
