Storydoc vs Pitch
Storydoc and Pitch side by side: what each one is, what it costs to start, and whether you can try it free. Everything below comes from the vendors' own sites and other public sources, not from hands-on testing.
Neither tool is ranked above the other here. These are research-based profiles, not hands-on tests. Starting price is the lowest listed paid plan per month (annual-billing equivalent where the vendor lists one), as shown on the vendor's own site when we last checked. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's site.

Key differences
Pitch lists a free tier and Storydoc does not.
Pitch has the lower starting price ($10/mo against $19.80/mo for Storydoc). The cheapest plan rarely has the same limits or features, so compare plans before choosing on price.
Both are in our Presentations & Slides category.
About each tool
S

Storydoc
Web-based AI builder for interactive pitch and sales decks with viewer analytics. Starter is $19.80 a month billed annually; a 14-day free trial is offered.
Who it is for
Storydoc describes Starter as for individual professionals, Pro as for businesses and teams, and Teams as designed for 5 or more users. Its pages focus on sales, pitch, training and onboarding documents rather than static slide files.
Strengths
- Storydoc says it generates decks from a prompt, uploaded documents or a website URL, applies brand logo, colors and fonts automatically, and offers an AI assistant that can rewrite, shorten or restyle individual slides.
- Storydoc cites 100+ interactive templates for pitches, sales decks, training and onboarding.
- Storydoc's analytics panel tracks views, clicks and time per slide, and offers alerts, A/B testing and AI insights on drop-off points.
- Storydoc names Salesforce, HubSpot and Pipedrive on its main page, lists Outreach, Salesloft, Marketo, Intercom, Calendly, Loom and Tableau in its FAQ, and has an API; its Zapier page says it connects with 9,000 other apps.
- The FAQ says Users can personalize a page (name, logo, intro) and track it, Creators have full access to the no-code editor, and team size is not capped but depends on the plan.
Limitations
- Starter lists 5 active documents, 20 AI image credits and 25 AI text credits a month, 10 version automations a month and basic analytics; collaboration, variables, workspace and integrations are listed from Pro.
- The pricing page lists PDF export on all plans, but the FAQ says no PDF export is mentioned and that browser printing removes animations, videos, interactivity and analytics. The pricing page's comparison table was also partly unreadable for some rows.
- No permanent free plan is described; Storydoc offers a 14-day free trial with limited features and no payment details collected upfront, although the pricing page uses 'Start free' buttons. Hosting on your own website is described as available for an extra fee.
P

Pitch
Presentation software with templates, shared workspaces and AI actions. Free plan available; paid plans start at €10 a month billed annually (Plus, 1 member).
Who it is for
Pitch's pages position the Free plan for individuals and small teams (up to 5 members), Plus for a single user, and Team and Business for workspaces of up to 25 and 200 members. Enterprise is listed for larger workspaces that need SAML SSO, SCIM and a dedicated success manager.
Strengths
- Pitch lists unlimited presentations, custom templates and AI presentation creation on the Free plan.
- Pitch's help center says it offers over 20 AI actions (such as rewriting text, translating slides and removing image backgrounds), and a brand tone can be set in workspace settings.
- pitch.com/pro lists custom fonts, video uploads and PowerPoint exports without Pitch branding from the Plus plan.
- pitch.com/pro lists Team with 1-25 seats, 3 teamspaces and 2 shared pitch rooms, and Business with 1-200 seats and unlimited teamspaces, pitch rooms and external guests.
- Pitch's AI credits guide says recurring credits refresh at each plan renewal, extra credits cost $0.004 each, and a monthly budget can cap how many credits members use.
- pitch.com/pro lists SAML-based SSO, SCIM, priority support and invoiced billing on Enterprise.
Limitations
- AI actions use credits, and Pitch's help pages do not list a credit cost per action. The credits guide lists 500 a month for Plus, 500 per seat for Pro and 750 per seat for Business, while pitch.com/pro says credits are shared across the team.
- Pitch's own pages disagree. pitch.com/pro lists Plus, Team and Business in euros, while pitch.com/pricing/us and the credits guide list Pro without amounts. The annual discount is 15% on one page and 17% on another, and pitch.com/pro shows Team with both 25 and 2 advanced links.
- Plus is limited to one member, paid workspaces are charged for every member except commenters, and Enterprise is listed for a minimum of 30 seats.
- The help center does not mention refunds. After cancellation the workspace returns to Free at the end of the billing cycle, with watermarked PDF exports, no PowerPoint export and new video uploads blocked. The privacy policy does not say whether customer content is used to train AI models.
