Beautiful.ai vs Plus AI
Beautiful.ai and Plus AI side by side: what each one is, what it costs to start, and whether you can try it free. Everything below comes from the vendors' own sites and other public sources, not from hands-on testing.
Neither tool is ranked above the other here. These are research-based profiles, not hands-on tests. Starting price is the lowest listed paid plan per month (annual-billing equivalent where the vendor lists one), as shown on the vendor's own site when we last checked. Prices change, so confirm on the vendor's site.

Key differences
Neither lists a free tier, so expect to pay to use either one.

Both are in our Presentations & Slides category.
About each tool
B

Beautiful.ai
Browser-based presentation software with auto-formatting Smart Slides and AI drafting; no free plan, 14-day trial. Pro is $14.50 a month billed annually.
Who it is for
The vendor positions Pro for individuals, Team for groups of 2 to 20 who need shared libraries and co-editing, and Enterprise for larger organizations (its FAQ says 20+ users) that need SSO and governance. It also lists consultants, agencies, and a free year for students with a valid .edu email.
Strengths
- Beautiful.ai says it has over 300 Smart Slide layouts that auto-align and resize content, and it lists charts built from pasted or uploaded data, with linked spreadsheets that can update slides.
- The pricing page lists unlimited AI content generation on its plans, with no AI usage cap shown, plus an AI writing assistant, AI image generation, and AI translation.
- Team adds real-time collaborative editing, a centralized slide and template library, version control with locked slides, a shared asset library, permission controls, viewer and slide analytics, and creation in 100+ languages.
- The integrations page names 12 integrations, including Claude, ChatGPT, Slack, PowerPoint, Google Drive, Dropbox, Box, OneDrive, Bynder, Frontify, Smartsheet, and Airtable. It does not say which plans include them.
- Beautiful.ai's security page lists SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, CCPA, and PCI compliance, AES-256 encryption at rest, and TLS 1.2 or 1.3 in transit. Its support page says input is never used to train the AI models.
- Enterprise adds SSO, SCIM user provisioning, audit logs, advanced permissions, configurable brand guardrails, dedicated onboarding, and priority support. Company admins can request that generative AI features be disabled.
Limitations
- The vendor's pages disagree on Pro annual pricing: $14.50 a month on the main pricing page and the pricing-pro-teams page, $12 on the pricing-plans page and the presentation-software page. The Team card also says 'includes 3 users' while the text says 2 to 20 seats.
- The $45 option is labeled 'for ad hoc projects' and 'Everything in Pro plan (billed monthly)', while the FAQ calls it a one-off single presentation, so its exact terms are unclear.
- The pricing comparison table lists workspace caps (5 themes, 10 presentation templates, 50 slide library items, 100 asset library items) that appear to apply to Pro, but the flattened text did not show which plan each number belongs to. The Terms license use for 'internal business or personal, non-commercial purposes'; confirm what that allows for client work. Data sent to AI providers is retained up to 30 days, and the security page gives no hosting region.
P

Plus AI
Add-on that creates and edits presentations inside Google Slides and PowerPoint. No free plan; paid plans start at $10 a month per user billed annually ($15 monthly).
Who it is for
It suits people who build decks inside Google Slides or PowerPoint, and teams that want shared brand colors, fonts and logos. Developers can use the API and MCP server from the Pro plan up, and larger organizations can ask for the Enterprise plan with SSO and user management.
Strengths
- Plus AI lists single-slide creation and AI rewrite and remix of slides on Basic, and one subscription covers both Google Slides and PowerPoint.
- Pro and above list document upload (PDF, docx, txt), prompts of 100K+ characters, AI image generation, an MCP server and a Presentation API.
- Team lists custom branding (logo, colors, fonts), saved custom instructions, a bring-your-own slide library and a beta custom template upload.
- Enterprise lists custom templates, asset libraries, automated workflows, SSO and user management, with onboarding and a demo required.
- Every paid plan lists a 7-day free trial with 1,000 AI credits and full access to the chosen plan's features.
- The help guide says plans are priced per user and that cancellation is available from the billing portal, PowerPoint or Google Slides, by the organization owner.
Limitations
- AI use is metered in credits: Basic lists 1,500 a month and Pro 3,000. A typical task uses 40 to 170 credits, credits are per user, reset on the billing date, and the guide says the agent is unavailable at the monthly limit.
- The help guide says subscription payments are not refunded and that uninstalling the add-on does not cancel the subscription. The terms say payment is final and non-refundable, and the license is for internal business purposes.
- Vendor pages differ or are silent: Basic is described as unlimited AI generation yet has a 1,500 credit cap, the Team credit amount is unclear, and Max is described as white-glove support on one page and prioritized support on another. The terms do not address AI model training, and the privacy policy found (dated 2021, on plus.ai) does not mention customer content.
