Both are in our Video & Motion category.

About each tool

Zebracat

Turns prompts, scripts or blog URLs into social videos and can schedule posts. Has a free plan; paid plans start at $23 a month billed annually ($39 monthly).

Who it is for

The vendor says it is for creators, marketers and businesses that want to publish short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and LinkedIn without video editing skills. Enterprise is the tier aimed at teams that need API access, custom models and advanced team roles.

Strengths

  • Zebracat's pricing page lists a Free plan at $0 with 5 credits a week, 720p export and 30-second videos, with a Zebracat watermark.
  • The pricing page lists the watermark as removed on all paid plans, with 1080p export on every paid tier.
  • Super Cat is listed with 40 videos and 1,400 generative AI credits a month, 120+ premium avatars, video translation into 25+ languages, and 5 custom avatars and 5 voice clones a month.
  • Unlimited Cat is listed with unlimited videos, 3,600 generative AI credits a month, 10 custom avatars and 10 voice clones a month, and priority support.
  • The homepage says Zebracat gives access to third-party video models (it names Veo, Kling, Seedance, Nano Banana and Pixverse) and lists an API and an MCP Server page.
  • Zebracat says paid subscribers own their videos with full commercial rights, and the pricing page lists Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover, plus USD, EUR, GBP, AUD and CAD.

Limitations

  • The Free plan is capped at 5 credits a week (about 1 minute a week), 720p and 30 seconds per video, and adds a Zebracat watermark.
  • Usage is metered in videos and generative AI credits: Cat Mode is listed at 15 videos and 350 credits a month on the pricing page, but the homepage lists 120 credits a month for Cat Mode.
  • Pages disagree on limits: Cat Mode length is 'any length' on the plan cards but 2 minutes in the comparison table, the FAQ describes limits in minutes per year (Cat Mode 120, Super Cat 360) rather than videos a month, and the homepage also shows older prices (Cat Mode $26, Super Cat $49 or $98).
  • Refund wording differs: the pricing page advertises a 7-day money-back guarantee if no video was downloaded, while its FAQ says partial months are not refunded and the terms say no refunds for already paid subscription periods. The terms also grant Zebracat a right to use, modify and distribute your content, do not say whether content trains AI models, and are governed by German law.

InVideo AI

Prompt-based AI video tool that generates images, video, voice and music, with a timeline editor. Credit-metered, priced per seat: Starter is $10 a month billed annually ($20 monthly).

Who it is for

Individuals and teams who want to produce video from text prompts and then edit it on a timeline. Paid plans add seats for small and mid-sized teams, up to 5, 10 or 20 depending on the tier.

Strengths

  • invideo's help center says manual timeline editing, exporting and downloading use no credits
  • Monthly or annual billing is available, and annual billing is listed at 50% off the monthly price
  • Its Terms say invideo will not use your user data to train or fine-tune its AI models
  • The Terms grant you a license to commercialize the outputs you generate, and exported outputs stay usable after cancellation

Limitations

  • Free plan credits are limited and reset weekly on Monday at 00:00 UTC. The help article gives no credit amount
  • Free plan downloads include a watermark, which any paid plan removes
  • Unused plan credits do not roll over, and invideo says credit costs can change without notice
  • Credit cost depends on model, resolution, duration and features, and video models are priced per second, so output per plan varies
  • Pricing is per seat. Starter is capped at 5 seats with no guest seats, and premium stock footage is capped per plan (100 on Starter, 200 on Plus, 500 on Max)
  • Fees are non-refundable, except a refund may be requested within 7 days of purchase or renewal if no credits or premium features were used
