About each tool

Krisp

Noise cancellation and bot-free AI meeting notes for calls. Core is $8 per user a month billed annually ($16 monthly); the pricing page lists a 7-day trial.

Who it is for

Krisp's Meeting AI plans are aimed at individuals and teams that want noise cancellation and automatic meeting notes. Contact centers and developers are sold separate Call Center AI and AI Voice SDK plans.

Strengths

  • Krisp lists unlimited noise cancellation and an unlimited bot-free AI note-taker (transcription, audio and video recording, AI notes and action items, in-person meeting notes) on its Core plan.
  • Krisp says transcripts and summaries are available in 16 languages: English transcription runs on the device, and 15 other languages, including Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, use server-based transcription.
  • Krisp lists integrations with HubSpot, Slack, Notion, Zapier and Microsoft Teams, plus an API and MCP, on Core; Advanced adds Salesforce and ConnectWise and team-level webhooks.
  • Krisp lists accent conversion on Core (1 hour a day, speaker and listener sides), 4 hours a day on the speaker side and unlimited on the listener side on Advanced.
  • Krisp lists Enterprise options such as SSO/SCIM, SOC2 report access, a choice of data center location, on-device private transcription and recordings, and a signed BAA for HIPAA (teams of 100+ seats).
  • Krisp's cancellation guide says you keep paid features until the end of the current billing cycle after you downgrade.

Limitations

  • Core includes 10 GB of storage and Advanced 60 GB; Enterprise is unlimited. Krisp lists storage add-ons up to 2 TB for Core and Advanced and up to 5 TB for Enterprise, with no add-on prices on the pricing page.
  • Krisp's Terms of Use say all fees are non-refundable except as stated in the Agreement, and subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Call Center plans are priced separately (CC Core $15 per agent a month billed annually); CC Advanced, the developer Early stage plan and Enterprise list no public price. The Terms of Use do not say whether customer content is used to train Krisp's own models.

Cleanvoice

Web tool that removes filler words, noise and silences from audio and video. Subscriptions start at $11 a month for 10 hours; 30-minute free trial.

Who it is for

Cleanvoice lists podcasters, audiobook narrators, voiceover artists, video editors, audio engineers, media agencies, businesses and developers. It also offers an API with Python and JavaScript SDKs and plain REST for teams that want to process audio in their own apps.

Strengths

  • Cleanvoice lists filler word, background noise, silence, mouth sound and breath removal, an audio enhancer (Studio Sound), video podcast editing, timeline export, and transcription with summaries. The pricing page shows all of these in both the subscription and pay-as-you-go plans, with no per-plan feature differences.
  • It says it can export edit markers as a timeline for Adobe Audition, Ultraschall, DaVinci Resolve, REAPER and Audacity, can mute edits instead of cutting them to keep video in sync, and edits multitrack recordings so cuts stay aligned across speakers.
  • Files can come from your device, Dropbox, Google Drive, a link or an in-browser recording. The homepage says it supports almost all common audio and video formats, including WAV, MP3, M4A, FLAC and MP4, with batch upload.
  • The developer page lists filler word removal in 20+ languages, an API for editing, enhancement, transcription and summaries, and EU servers. It also says up to 200 hours of free API credit can be requested by startups from the API Keys page.
  • The pricing page says unused subscription credits roll over up to three times the plan limit, so the 10-hour plan can hold up to 30 hours. It also says failed uploads are not charged and you can cancel, upgrade or downgrade anytime.
  • The terms say uploaded content and results are generally deleted within seven days after processing, and that you own your results. Cleanvoice's pages also state GDPR compliance and ISO 27001 certification.

Limitations

  • Usage is metered by audio duration: subscriptions include 10, 30 or 100 hours a month, billing has a 1-minute minimum and rounds up (a 10m 20s file bills as 11 minutes), and subscription credits are used before pay-as-you-go credits. The page says multi-track uploads currently have no extra charge but that may change.
  • Refund pages disagree. The terms (Section 6.9) say fees, subscription payments and credit purchases are final and non-refundable, and unused credits expire (Section 6.6). A help article says remaining credits may be refunded within 14 days of cancelling. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • The terms grant a limited license for personal or internal business use, require Cleanvoice's authorization to resell the service, and let it change usage limits, rate limits and quotas at any time. The terms also prohibit bots, crawlers and scrapers without authorization.
  • Cleanvoice's own pages differ on data use for training and on API pricing. The developer page says audio is never used to train models, while the terms (Section 8.8) separately allow improving its models with processed content. The developer page lists self-serve plans from $0.75 an hour, but the lowest subscription rate on the pricing page is $0.90 an hour.
